Sometimes, a scientist knows exactly what he wants to represent; he just doesn’t have the technical means to achieve the result.
For this map, representing different geological features of an area, the researcher provided a precise sketch and a very thorough explaination of the desired result, which allowed me to deliver an accurate scientific figure in a short time.
The main challenge for this project was readability. Since there are many different features overlayed on each other, I played with the opacity of each layer so that every feature was easily distinguishable.
