This scientific diagram represents two chemical reactions that the same molecule can undergo.
The researcher wanted to redesign his flowchart (first image below) in a professional and appealing way. The main trick that I employed was using two different color gradients to represent the progression of the two chemical reactions.
The second image below is my first design, to which we ended up adding a plasma chamber to represent the reactions more accurately.
