Faults, errors, failures

I had the pleasure to collaborate with HIMA, a German company specializing in safety-related automation solutions, on a project delving into the world of functional safety. The aim was to make the topics of faults, errors, and failures more approachable for university students. In partnership with HIMA, who authored a paper on these subjects, I created a series of illustrations to complement their insights. The illustrations explore the distinctions between faults, errors, and failures, provide examples, and highlight preventive measures. Together, we strived to bring vibrancy to the often perceived dry realm of functional safety, making it more engaging and memorable for students.
